Roughly half of the public cemetery districts in California are members of our risk pool. So, we know that governing and managing a public cemetery comes with its own unique set of challenges.

While these districts have much smaller budgets than most agencies in the state, they still risk claims that can lead to large judgments or settlements. We are very focused on making available coverage with adequate limits at the most affordable costs. In addition, we are very involved in the industry itself with significant participation in the Public Cemetery Alliance and the California Association of Public Cemeteries.
